Diamond
weight is measured in carats and is the easiest of the 4Cs to determine,
because it is simply a matter of weighing the diamonds. One carat
is divided into 100 "points," so that a diamond of 75
points, for example, weighs .75 carats. Generally, the heavier the
diamond, the larger it is. Fine quality can be found in diamonds
of all carat weights.
Mervis Diamond Importers uses only the most accurate electronic
scales. You are told the precise weight of your diamond every time,
never rounded up to the nearest whole number.
