When it comes to diamonds, Cut is the most important of the 4 C's because that is what makes a diamond sparkle. A diamond has 57 facets and it's the interplay of the angles that allows light to come in, bounce around, and then shoot out the top of the diamond where it meets the eye.
The color of a diamond is important because that shows how white or yellow a diamond is. However, I think this is the second most important factor to Cut because a white diamond that doesn't sparkle isn't very pretty.
