Jewelry Deception turned in to Queen for a Day!

Today we saw this story by WUSA9 about a couple receiving a mis-marked piece of jewelry and feeling disheartened by their purchase. As a third generation family business, we take our customer satisfaction very seriously. All of us at Mervis Diamond Importers want the chance to make up for Laura's sullied diamond experience. Just in time for Mother's Day, we would like to make Laura Randolph a Queen for a day at Mervis Diamond Importers Tyson's Corner. We would like to treat her to a $1000 shopping spree at Mervis Diamond Importers Tyson's Corner location and a gorgeous floral arrangement from Maryam's Flowers. Upon hearing the news, Ronnie Mervis of Mervis Diamonds felt he needed to step in and is thrilled to be able to meet the Randolph couple and personally assist them in picking out a beautiful new piece of jewelry on Laura's shopping spree. Although the misleading ring was not purchased from any of our three locations, we believe strongly in family values and in ensuring that all customers are thrilled with their purchases. We hope that we can reinstill the Randolph's faith in customer service and show that their voice does matter. Our customer service policy is clear: we want everyone who walks through the door of a Mervis Diamond Importers to feel like a king or queen and hope that we can make up for the unfortunate mistake made by someone else on Ms. Randolph. We are sure the mistake at Jared’s was exactly that – a mistake – and this one-time incident shouldn’t be misunderstood by the public as an intentional act of deception by a jeweler, or give the impression that all jewelers should be mistrusted. As a family business ourselves, we take honesty and integrity very seriously. We look forward to welcoming Laura Randolph to Mervis Diamond Importers Tyson's Corner this Sunday for a shopping spree and brunch. If any of you know Laura and have a way for us to get in contact with her, please have her email Jonathan Mervis (jmervis@www.mervisdiamond.com) or Hailey Robbins (hrobbins@www.mervisdiamond.com) or call 703-287-1615.
