Mervis Surprises 3rd Grade Teacher, Courtney, with Free Tacori Earrings

Mervis Diamond Importers gave a veteran’s fiancée the ultimate Veterans’ Day surprise: a pair of stunning Tacori aquamarine earrings for her upcoming wedding. Mervis Diamonds overheard Courtney Hammond; a 3rd grade teacher from Lorton, Virginia was trying to win a pair of Mervis earrings from the Tacori Something Blue collection on Fresh 94.7 FM’s morning segment, Can’t Beat Kelly. Courtney was lucky enough to get through on several occasions, but was never the lucky caller to play the game. Fresh FM’s Morning show hosts Tommy McFly, Jen Richer and Kelly Collis reached out to Mervis to give the Mervis family Courtney’s story. Courtney and her fiancé, David, have been together for five years and got engaged back in 2011. Her fiancé, David, is a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Her engagement ring was a beautiful Tacori engagement ring and she wanted the Mervis prize as her “something blue” for her wedding day. “We thought Courtney’s story was so sweet. We love doing nice things for people and Courtney and David were the perfect couple to surprise. We cannot thank Courtney enough for being a wonderful third grade teacher and it was our pleasure to help David, who serves in our military, surprise her,” said Jonathan Mervis of Mervis Diamonds. The morning of November 11th, Mervis Diamonds and David, Courtney’s fiancé, surprised Courtney in her third-grade classroom with a pair of Tacori Aquamarine earrings as a special surprise to say thank you for being such a wonderful role model for young children and to also thank David for his service. Courtney and David will be married on Saturday, November 16th in Buffalo, New York. 94.7 Fresh FM caught up with Courtney after the surprise. Check out what she had to say HERE!
